# WavePay

> WavePay is the checkout, licensing and settlement API for software — apps,
> browser extensions, games, APIs and bots. One integration reaches local
> wallet rails (EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks, Telecash, O'mari, ZimSwitch) and
> international rails (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal). Agents onboard in one POST:
> /v2/register mints a live merchant key on the free tier, no browser and no
> email round-trip required. MCP tools are at POST /mcp (JSON-RPC 2.0).

## Rules

- Idempotency-Key header on checkouts — retries return the same payment
- Free tier: 25 payments/30 days; Basic $9/mo: 250; Pro $29/mo: 2,500
- Test keys `mk_test_…` exercise every route without real money
